Casa de la Familia specializes in the treatment of post-traumatic, anxiety, and depressive disorders through the provision of crisis intervention and long-term individual and family therapy. We work closely with city, county, and state social service agencies, police departments, victim advocates, family resource centers, nonprofit agencies, and community service programs. Job Description
We are looking for a responsible Remote Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks to support our team. The duties of the Administrative Assistant include providing support to managers and employees, assisting in daily operational needs, and generating reports and lists. Responsibilities include preparing reports, maintaining organized filing systems, and handling various administrative tasks. The ideal candidate should have excellent organizational skills and be proficient in using tools like MS Excel and other office software. If you have previous experience as an administrative assistant, especially within our industry, we’d love to meet you. Ultimately, a successful Administrative Assistant should ensure the efficient and smooth day-to-day remote operations of our internal administrative functions.
Responsibilities:
- Organize and schedule virtual appointments and meetings
- Write and distribute internal communication, memos, and reports
- Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
- Develop and maintain internal filing systems and document organization
- Update and maintain internal office policies and procedures
- Create reports and lists for internal use as needed
- Provide administrative support to managers and team members
- Manage internal databases and track important operational information
- Assist with administrative projects and tasks as required
Skills:
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant or office admin assistant
- Knowledge of office management systems and internal procedures
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint in particular)
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
Requirements:
- Bilingual (English-Spanish)
- Courses in psychology or sociology
- Able to work remotely
